This program is designed to help integrate individuals with disabilities into competitive employment. The Employment Consultant will initially work very closely with the job seeker to identify appropriate employment opportunities. This can include completing applications and pre-hire assessments. The Employment Consultant, in partnership with the job seeker, will act as a liaison to the employer. After securing employment, the Employment Consultant will help the consumer to build the natural supports necessary to ensure successful employment. Employment Consultants are also charged with educating employers and their staff about working with people who have disabilities; answering questions regarding the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act); and trying to break down some of the stigma, myths, and stereotypes associated with people with disabilities.

Other services offered by the Employment Services Program include Virtual Services, Career Exploration and Resume Development. The Employment Services program is time-limited. After achieving 90 days of successful and stable employment consumers will be successfully discharged from the program
